Dániel Sallói, a foreign player for Sporting Kansas City in Major League Soccer (MLS), tore his ankle ligament.

The 25-year-old Hungarian striker assisted once in the Vancouver Whitecaps–Sporting Kansas (2–1) match in the early hours of Monday morning (Hungary time). A post-game medical examination, however, revealed that the footballer (who has scored 16 goals in 27 MLS games in the United States so far this season) was injured. The footballer, who's been capped four times for Hungary, is expected to be on forced rest for a month.
