Salzburg defeated Atlético Madrid 5-0, while Benfica beat Juventus 4-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw in regular time in the UEFA Youth League semi-finals in Nyon. Therefore, the Austrian and Portuguese teams are playing in the final.

The two semifinal matches were held in a row at the Colovray Stadium in Nyon.

In the first game, Juventus' under-19 team, with Zsombor Senkó as their goalkeeper, fell two goals behind Benfica in just ten minutes. The Portuguese team's goalkeeper was dismissed in the first half. The Italians were then able to overcome their disadvantage, but they lost the match in a penalty shootout after regular time.

This was followed by a clash between Atlético Madrid and Salzburg, in which the Austrians took a three-goal lead already in the first half, and then knocked out their Spanish opponents with two more goals. Marcell Berki came on as a substitute in the 73rd minute for Salzburg, while Balázs Tóth was on the bench as a substitute goalkeeper.

The final will be held on April 25, at the venue for the semifinals.
