The Ferencváros football team did not make Albanian national team player Myrto Uzuni, who was a starter against Puskás Akadémia on Thursday, participate in the derby against Újpest. The player might switch clubs; therefore, he was not included in the squad. He is on his way to Granada as Albanian and Spanish sources confirmed it on Sunday evening.

The 26-year-old Myrto Uzuni is considered one of the best in Ferencváros, having recorded 36 goals and 14 assists in 67 games since signing with the Hungarian club in 2020. No wonder several top leagues, most notably the Spanish La Liga and the English Premier League, are interested in the winger.

As far as we know, one of the clubs that is interested in him is 14th-placed Granada. According to a source from Spain, the club is ready to pay even around €3 million for the Albanian national team player capped 22 times, whose value Transfermarkt estimates at €3.5 million (some sources write the purchase price could be as high as €3.5 million). With the transfer window in Spain ending on Monday, negotiations must be concluded on January 31 at the latest. If an agreement is reached between the clubs, Uzuni will have to undergo medical examinations at his future team. Therefore, Ferencváros did not even include the player in the squad for Sunday night's derby against Újpest.

After publishing our article, the Albanian panorama.al and the Spanish ideal.es also reported on the transfer as a ready-made fact. According to both sources, Uzuni has already traveled to Granada, where his signing could be announced on Monday after medical examinations. He is expected to sign for four years for about €3-3.5 million.

We tried to contact FTC regarding the information, but the club only releases news on its official communications platform, fradi.hu.
