The ceremony itself starts with the Farewell of the Nation at Ferenc Puskás Stadium on the 9th of December at 4 pm. The admirers and fans will have the chance to remember Ferenc Puskás in the stands of the national stadium. After the one-hour ceremony the mortal remains of the legendary player will be taken to Hősök tere for a Military Farewell. After the end of this short ceremony the crowd continues the walk to St. Stephen' Basilica where the Roman Catholic Mass starts at 7 pm.
The journalists need to be accredited for the events. The Puskás Memorial Committee kindly asks the editorials to send detailed accreditation applications to [email protected] until the midnight of December 5th.
