Michael Boris, who has previously worked for the Hungarian U21 national team, arrived at the then-NB-II MTK two years ago. Under his guidance, the team got promoted to the top flight and finished 7th in the NB I in the 2020-2021 season. In the two seasons, he managed MTK in 74 matches overall, out of which they won 40, played 15 draws, and lost 19.

The metropolitan club states that the team needs new impulses and would start next season with a new head coach. In the next few days, it will be decided who will succeed Boris.
