ENSO: NSO in English has launched

One of the sports news media with the richest past, Nemzeti Sport, has been frequently cited by foreign news sites. Now, internationally relevant information about Hungarian sports is accessible to even more people. An announcement of Mediaworks Hungary Zrt.

With the start of the new year, Nemzeti Sport Online presents a completely new content service: articles and interviews in English can now be read on NSO. The articles translated from the original NS content are available at, under the “ENSO” sub-page, and the offer is updated daily.

From the very beginning, modern sport has been a cross-border phenomenon, involving many travels, meetings and international exchanges, and the world of locker rooms and competitions has been multilingual for hundreds of years – even more so today. In addition, Hungarian sports, which has been rebuilding since 2010, continuously delivers interesting news and information abroad through its traditions and recent results. This news can now be accessed even more easily for employees of news agencies and the media of foreign languages, and also to those English-readers living either in Hungary or anywhere in the world who are interested in Hungarian sports and its international aspects.

Nemzeti Sport Online copywrote and put the “nemzetisport” domain names of the surrounding countries into operation on June 4, 2020, the 100th anniversary of the Treaty of Trianon. As NSO has declared with this symbolic gesture, it wants to be a forum for all Hungarian-speakers and patriots, athletes and fans. This time we are launching the English sub-page of Nemzeti Sport Online, ENSO, for our readers who don't know Hungarian but are interested in our sports and culture.
