Az észak-amerikai labdarúgó-bajnokság (Major League Soccer) alapszakaszában a David Beckhamet is soraiban tudó Los Angeles Galaxy hazai pályán fordított, és nyert a Real Salt Lake ellen.
A francia Thierry Henry a 88. percben volt eredményes, így pontot mentett csapatának, a New York Red Bullsnak Torontóban.
A szombati játéknapon pályára lépő tizenkét együttes közül mindössze a Dallas nem tudott gólt szerezni.
