Zsuzsanna Tomori continues her career in FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria in the women's handball national league (NB I). The left back, who strengthened the Green and Whites between 2010 and 2015, is transferring from the Champions League-winning Norwegian Vipers Kristiansand, fradi.hu reports.

The Hungarian national handball player, capped 191 times, joined Vipers Kristiansand in the summer of 2021, with which she won the Champions League at the weekend – she scored two goals in the final. The player, who turns 35 on June 18, has already won this trophy three times with Győr.

"I am incredibly happy! After the Champions League final, I found out that I got this opportunity, and everything was clarified in a day or two. It's been a long time since I was planning to come back here, so I didn't even hesitate for a minute that I'd like to take advantage of the opportunity since I've got it. In this hall, in this environment, all the feelings that I used to have, came back. I secretly hoped that I could still be a Fradi player and achieve success with Fradi, because it was special, and it felt very good to always play in this environment. I would love to qualify for the FINAL4 with Fradi as well, and I am sure that that event would take place in front of a full house, in an incredible atmosphere – it would be wonderful," Tomori said after the signing.

"In the Champions League quarterfinal, the level that Zsuzsi represents was visible. She was the leader of the gold medal-winning team in defense, and she also scored important goals in the final. She has performed at the same level almost all the time this season and I am confident that Fradi will be in the top four teams in Europe with her. I believe that she means a lot to our team to achieve our goals. With her, the number of variations has increased significantly both in the front and back," said Zsolt Görög, head of department.
