Mainly Attila Szalai's and Roland Sallai's market value has increased the most since the fall, but on transfermarkt.de, the ace is Dominik Szoboszlai who can return in May.

The national team's European Championship qualification, promotion to the Nations League A or Ferencváros' participation in the Champions League in the group stage seem to have an impact on the player market as well. If we can believe the database of transfermarkt.de, which many say is authoritative, the market value of many Hungarian footballers has increased in recent months – most of theirs show a significant boost.

THE MOST VALUABLE TEN HUNGARIAN FOOTBALLERS CURRENTLY ACCORDING TO TRANSFERMARKT.DE
1.Dominik Szoboszlai (RB Leipzig – Germany) – 25 million Euros (same compared to the last report)
2. Willi Orbán (RB Leipzig – Germany) – 14 (12)
3. Péter Gulácsi (RB Leipzig – Germany) – 12 (11)
4. Roland Sallai (Freiburg – Germany) – 9 (3.5)
5. Attila Szalai (Fenerbahce – Turkey) – 3.7 (0.8)
6. Loic Nego (Mol Fehérvár) – 2.2 (1.5)
Dénes Dibusz (Ferencváros) – 2.2 (2)
Kevin Varga (Kasimpasa – Turkey) – 2.2 (2)
9. Ádám Nagy (Bristol City – England div. 2) – 2 (same)
10. Tamás Kádár (Santung Luneng – China) – 1.8 (2.8)

The indicator of the seven out of the eight most valuable Hungarian players currently considered by the popular German website also jumped. The exception is list leader Dominik Szoboszlai, whose perceived value has been stagnating since July last year, which is estimated at 25 million Euros by transfermarkt.de. The player signed for 20 million Euros in January from Austrian Red Bull Salzburg to RB Leipzig. The news about the attacking midfielder was shared by the footballer's management company, EM Sports Consulting: their player is expected to be able to do full-fledged work in his club team in May and prepare for the European Championship as well.

However, the market price of each of the seven players following the young talent in the ranking rose – most notably Attila Szalai's and Roland Sallai's. The defender who transferred from Apollon Limassol in Cyprus to Turkish Fenerbahce in January was worth 800,000 Euros in October last year, but now his indicator is at 3.7 million, which is more than 4 times in increase (Fenerbahce paid two million euros for him), while Freiburg's legionnaire's worth almost tripled from 3.5 to 9 million Euros compared to the latest data published in April last year.

The list's first five places are legionnaires (the podium is occupied by the three legionnaires of Leipzig), the sixth-tied Loïc Négo and Dénes Dibusz are the two most valuable Hungarian League (NB I) players. According to the website, both Mol Fehérvár FC's Hungarian national team member of French origins and FTC's goalkeeper are worth 2.2 million Euros, and the third most valuable player in NB I is the eleventh-ranked striker Nemanja Nikolic of Székesfehérvár worth 1.5 million.

Fifteen of the 26 footballers invited by national team head coach Marco Rossi to the three World Cup qualifiers at the end of March (Péter Gulácsi, Dénes Dibusz, Balázs Tóth, Endre Botka, Attila Fiola, Szilveszter Hangya, Ádám Lang, Attila Szalai, Willi Orbán, Filip Holender, Zsolt Kalmár, Nego Loic, András Schäfer, Roland Sallai, Kevin Varga) increased their value most recently compared to the indicator recorded in the fall. Eight players' (Ákos Kecskés, Tamás Cseri, Dániel Gazdag, Ádám Nagy, Dávid Sigér, Krisztián Géresi, Nemanja Nikolic, Ádám Szalai) value remained the same, and only three's (Gergő Lovrencsics, László Kleinheisler, Roland Varga) decreased somewhat.
