Maybe we shouldn't even ask if you were disappointed...
– The opponent deserved to win, but to be honest, Crvena Zvezda didn't surprise us at all – Cherchesov began. – What was astonishing for me was that our team stopped playing after the first conceded goal. Although we should have continued to play the same way we had been playing. We should not have let the penalty break the will.

What do you need to improve in before next week's game in Budapest?
– In everything! I cannot be satisfied with anything this time. Unfortunately, the penalty was a turning point, but it shouldn't have been. In short, our fans were better than our team.

After such a defeat, what did you say to your players in the dressing room?
– I don't want to talk about that in public, but I said everything I wanted to say about our performance.

MILOS MILOJEVIC, CRVENA ZVEZDA’S HEAD COACH

The evening went well for you. Are you happy with everything?

Our game was fine. Our attitude was also very good. I could feel the strength in my players right from the start of the game. So, we started the game well and, in fact, everything went well on this night...
Did the team need this victory mentally as well?

The fans supported us. They have criticized the players a lot lately but let me take care of that. It was an important game for us because we were pretty much grasping at straws, we had to win. And we won, pretty convincingly. We still have room for improvement, but this match was perfect.
How do you see the other teams' chances in the group?
The win and the three points will give us a boost as well. There are three more rounds to go, and we could collect nine points. We play against Ferencváros in their home next week, and it would be good to get a positive result there too. We have to keep our feet on the ground, and I'm sure that many fans will accompany us to the away games.
